  • A job for Trim Detailer?

    Just a quick question...

The interior of my car is a combination of leather, plastics and rubber (or at least I think it's rubber, as far as I can tell)

It doesn't look like the previous owner did any detailing on it at all, as I notice the rubber portions feeling sticky and grimy to the touch. The plastics and leather portions look and feel fine.

But would I be able to use the Trim Detailer to clean all 3 types of materials?

    Thanks for your time

I would not reccomend using Trim Detailer on the entire car. I think you'd be better off using some Interior Dash Foam, which has great cleaning power, and leaves a clean matte finish, with no greasy residue.

And for the leather, pick up a bottle of Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/ Conditioner.

Hi there, thanks for your advice.

Would the Interior Foam work on a rubber material, or just on plastics?

The foam works on rubber. I would recommend an all purpose cleaner first if the interior is gummy feeling. Then follow with the foam.
