it had been about a month since i waxed it
but i wash it atlest one a week .
After the overspray i used the clay kit
    everystage worked great.
The clay made the car feel real smoth but
didnt seem to remover much of the overspray
the wax remover on the other hand seemed to take
allmost all of it off .....but i want all of it.
so whould i clay it again the whole process over
or should i get something differant..?

For bonded contaminants, like overspray, treesap, brake dust, exhaust crud, and tar. I use clay, body solvent, or Meguiar's Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner (discontinued but I have ways to get some).
I'd say if claying isn't improving your results, then use a chemical paint cleaner. Like MPPC or Deep Crystal Step 1.
But just to let you know, mppc has never let me down on any task I've tried to use it for, it's an amazing product. DC paint cleaner is very similiar tho.

That's a little strange because usually when you make rough or textured paint feel smoother it's because you have removed whatever was giving the paint the rough, bumpy or textured feel to it, in this example that would be the overspray.

Sometime people don't push down hard enough to thoroughly and effectively work the clay over the paint and for this reason not all of the above surface bonded contaminants, (overspray would be classified as an above surface bonded contaminant) and thus some people don't get the results they were looking for and blame the clay when the problem was their technique.

In this picture you can see we have taped off and clayed on half of a hood with white paint overspray all over the entire truck. We used the Consumer clay in the Smooth Surface Clay Kit to remove this industrial white paint overspray but we did have to focus on the task at hand and put some passion behind our hand as we worked the clay in order to get 100% of the overspray off the paint.

For some above surface bonded contaminants you'll need a very aggressive clay like we offer in our Professional Line. At a recent class we had a young main with some time of embedded particles on the hood of his car, our Consumer Smooth Surface Clay Kit removed about 99% of the above surface bonded contaminants, it would not however remove the last 1% of really stubborn particles.

We used the aggressive clay from our Professional Line and lickity-split, it removed quickly and with only a little effort. The below picture is the actual person and the actual car being referenced.

the wax remover on the other hand seemed to take almost all of it off .....
What do you mean by wax remover?
