Finally detailing Weather :)

Well, I have had a crazy summer.....I got married june 3rd, then my only brother passed away july 6. Now I am back in school full-time (Calculus II is strange)

I browsed some of my pictures recently when I had my truck nice. I cant even remember the last time I washed it. I use a "laser" type car wash.

The thing is here in south texas it is too darn hot. Especially after being in attic crawl spaces where it gets to 130F before lunch.

Anyway it is finnaly getting to be a little more bareable in the evenings. I have been cleaning my garage lately getting ready for the detail days.

I just wanted to share my joy with you, and I will post some pics. Meanwhile, you might enjoy this old ford I am repainting th is fall:

well, I have the mid section painted (midnight metallic blue) and I am prepping the outside (outer section) for the light blue as I type. I have the hood ready for tomorrow to get paint.

SHould have the paint on before next week. It has been a year long project.

**PS I used Meguiar's #85 Diamond cut 2.0 to remove 1500 grit sanding marks on the dark blue. Worked like a charm!!! I am using a crude paint shop and set up, but a little work and it is turning out to be beautiful!! I will finish up with some #83. or #81 when everything is done. The darker paint needed more attention, I dont think the light blue will need as much attention I hope.
