  • Detailing Cart

Now that I've bought way too much stuff for detailing my vehicles.... and of course I plan to buy more....

Anyone have any good ideas for a roll around cart to hold it all? Something with deep enough shelves to hold the gallon size bottles without falling over when you roll it around over bumps, and enough storage for all this stuff?

I've seen some of the expensive ones online... anybody found a deal on something?

Wow that looks like it would work great! Do you have to get a membership at Costco to be able to go there?

Do you by any chance know the item number?

Yes you need to have a membership there, and you need to be 18 or over to buy from there/ join. My mom gave me a costco gift card one time to buy a table cuz I had a pickup truck so I could bring it back. I get there, load the darn thing onto the cart and wait in line, only to be denied because you have to be 18 to use the gift card, I'm 17. So I had to call my mom to drive down just to do it herself. It sucked and was pointless.

But anyways, matco makes a nice toolcart. and go to sears to find some good ones too.

i have that same cart from costco works out well....i first intended to use it to hold the pc and so forth...but now it hold whatever i can place on it....

also harbor freight has a two pr three shelf cart that very nice too

also some one mention not having a membership you can order from costco website even if you dont have a membership but they'll charge you a fee....

i also heard you can buy or get a one day pass to costco, i tried this with sams club but they will allow you to enter but will not allow to make any purchases unless you buy the membership..

I want one of those! I'm gonna have to keep an eye out at other places because I don't have and don't care to get a membership to Costco/Sams.

                Side-note/off-topic...
You can buy alcohol at Sam's Club w/o having a membership. Of course you have to be 21 or over. My mom & dad have a membership there and one day my dad overheard a manager telling a clerk that a person could buy alcohol w/o a membership. Anyway, just an FYI .

I found [Commercial Link Removed] on Costco's Website...looks like it might be the newer version of the one pictured on this thread.

If the link doesn't work it's Item #107830 on Costco.com.

I might go ahead I buy one myself, I have been looking for one!!

Here is my detailing cart. I got it at Sams Wholesale. Best I remember was about $40 for it. I've added some side racks that I got from a Potato Chip route salesman. They were original intended to hang on the side of chip racks to put peanuts, etc in. Gives me a place to put extra bottles of product and leaves top shelf open to lay cloths, pads, the PC, etc.

I don't think this one is related to these other ones, because this one is from the auto section and I bought the other one from the kitchen section. I personally like the kitchen one better since it has 3 shelves, a towel rack, and is a bit cheaper in my area. Just my .02 cents.

Anyways, sorry I can't show my cart guys. The website won't let me upload it yet. I'm assuming its from the migration....

I use a Snap on toolcart because detailing stuff can add up and get heavy for a regular cart to hold. But i detail for a living and needed something strong.I figure if it can hold a cast iron engine block then products are no problem.

Went back to Costco today to look for the cart a couple of you bought. Nothing there....

Can anyone dig up the product number for the one you got in store? Not the automotive one on the web site, but the kitchen one that Grover and Vettemaniac have. If I had that they could look it up and tell me if any of the Costco's around me have it.

                              Thanks!
