  • Simoniz 6 in. random-orbital any good?

I have an old Simoniz 6 inch random orbital polisher that has 1 speed of 3500 rpm. Is this any good for application or removal of products such as #7 and #26 ?
If so, can the sotbuff pads work on this?
    Thanks for any input.

Polishers like this will apply products and if the products are not applied to thickly, then with a clean dry bonnet these types of polishers will remove products.

Just to note there's a huge difference between applying a product, (spreading the product out over the surface), and removing defects, (removing paint).

As far as we know our foam pads will not attach to polisher like these because they don't have a Velcro interface.
