I bought Meguiar's Body Solvent to get rid of sap spots from my trunk. The car is black and I'm afraid the solvent might damage the paint finish. Does anyone have any experience using Body Solvent?

Meguiar's wouldn't sell a product if it would cause damage to your paint. Follow the directions and you will be fine. -
Yeah, you'll be fine. Just get some on a cloth and dab it over the spots, and let it sit for a minute or two. Then use a soapy sponge to rub it off.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR BlueComment

For tree sap I used the body solvent (a few applications, and agitated with a terry cloth) and it got rid of most of it, and I followed up with MPPC and that got the rest.
MPPC is amazing stuff.Comment
