  • Hot climate, bad to keep items in trunk?

Guys I have been keeping my detail supplies in the trunk of my car but I just went through them and notices most of the bottles swelling up and a few split.
I live in a hot climate, its obviously bad for the bottles but is it bad for the product?

At minimum I think I'm gonna keep my quick detailer and quick wax there, is this ok?
    Thanks!

The bottles build up pressure in the air space due to the heat.

I do keep QD, wipes and glass cleaner in the trunk of my Mustang. I have them in a trunk organizer. When it is real hot, I open the tops of the bottles slightly. I have never had a bottle expand or rupture.

You can check the back of the bottle for the maximum temperature they can be stored at. If you apply the product while it`s very hot I`ve noticed more streaking but it still seems to work ok once it`s cooled off.
