  • Do you need to wax after using quick detailer?

Hey guys just wondering, woke up this morning and found some "oily" type spots on the car, don't know exactly what it is.
I just cleaned and waxed it yesterday.
I belive that it could be some nxt plastic, vinyl, rubber treatment may have gotten on the paint some.

I have a bottle of quick detailer I haven't ever used yet.
Can I use it to clean this area off? If so do I need to rewax/will it strip the wax off?
    THanks!

The products like Quick Detailer, Speed Detailer, Last Touch and Final Inspection are designed to remove light dust, light oil, etc, and restore a nice shine without removing any wax.

cool I figured it wouldn't remove set up wax but I just waxed yesterday with NXT, I knowthe polymers need time to set up.

Has this been enough time? I was just worried that quick detailer would remove it if used immediately after..
      Thanks!

It is nice if you can leave it alone for 12-24 hours after waxing, and it sounds like it has been about that long.

At the same time, if you don't know what kind of oil, gunk, etc it is, I'd get it off right away no matter what. Better to have your wax not fully cured than an etching into the paint.
