Cleaning a convertible top

Hi! I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. I just moved and now I have to park on the street. The problem is, I sometimes have to park under this tree that leaves tons of tree droppings and bird droppings all over the car. I've been able to successfuly remove them from the paint. However, I can't seem to get my covertible top clean. Does anyone know of a quality convertible top cleaner or a way get the spots out of my top?

You have a couple of options. One is a product called Raggtopp. It comes as a cleaner and another can for protectant.

Another option you have is to use Meg's Canvas Cleaner and Canvas Protectant

Before you listen to this recommendation I think you should find out what your top is made of. Some tops are made of vinyl and some tops are made of fabric. I know the top on my car looks like a fabric top, but in fact is made from a woven vinyl.

If your top is fabric this is a great product recommendation. If it's vinyl then Ragg Topp makes products for vinyl tops as well. But if you want to go with Meguiar's I would use #39 to clean & #40 to protect.
