OK - Gonna do my first wax

Yup - I am going to do my first wax tonight my first EVER...

Dont get me wrong, I have my car detailed 4 times a year, but I want to try doing this myself, at least once. My car is in pretty good shape so no sweat there.

So - I bought Gold Class Clear Coat Car Wax and some terricloth towels. Also bought the Gold Class Leather Cleaner & Conditioner. Car is black, inside and out. No buffer, going to do this by hand - at least the first time.....

So....Now what guys?

Be careful about trimming, mask them off if you can. Gold class stains trimming.

Hey,

The other poster was referring to the vinyl trim pieces such as body moldings, plastic cowls etc. Some waxes can stain or can be very difficult to remove from these trim pieces. So, it is suggested that you use blue painters safe release masking tape, and tape off all trim pieces.
