Best Product to use on Tonneau Cover

I have a dealer installed Rollup Tonneau cover on my King Ranch F150. What would be the best products to clean and protect the cover from the elements?

For a two step process, #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl cleaner followed by something like All Season Dressing would be hard to beat.

#40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner would be a good one step product for this application as well.

If the cover is pretty dirty or has alot of dressing on it right now, I'd go with the cleaner followed by your dressing of choice (ASD is tough to beat).

Thanks for your prompt replies. I think the NXT Spray is probably what I will try since I can get it locally. That will be a good starting point. From the appearance of the cover it is not extremely dirty and a good washing today cleaned it right up. Again, thanks to each of you that replied. I am still reading and trying to absorb some of the incredible knowledge that is stored on this forum. I've read till my head is spinning the last few nights.

I have a black F150 with a cover and if I use a vinyl dressing on it, when it rains I end up with streaks all over the side of my truck, not a very good look on a polished black truck,

I agree with what tommyb6277 said. I have a Graphite (Dark Gray) truck and no matter what I use, it runs down the sides of my truck after it rains. So far I've tried #40 and Gold Class. I keep my tonneau clean by giving a good washing with a dedicated bucket of Gold Class Car wash. I don't dress it after every wash. When I do plan on dressing it, I watch the weather to make sure it won't rain for at least a few days.

Try using less product. Just a few drops will go along way. Put a few drops on a towel and rub it in until the cover starts to smoke.

Farmboy, that's what I did the last time and it still streaked. Not as bad as the first time though. I applied it and let it sit for a while. Then buffed it off. It actually looked nicer after I buffed it but it still ran when it rained.

Just an idea, I know I over apply certain products. Dressings are one of my worst.

Thanks farmboy. Good advise. I know a lot of people that over apply products. I try not to but it's sometimes tough.

How rigid are those things? Could you use a PC with W7006 pad and MF Bonnet to give it a final buffing?

Not rigid at all. The ones we are talking about is the soft vinyl type. A good buffing by hand with a dedicated MF or terry cloth woks well.
