You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

I know I know. I've just gotten started. I have a pretty mixed collection of other products still to use up. The main reason I am switching over is because of the consistancy and overall complete line that megs offers. Most of the stuff I have bought so far because I am working on buffing/cutting/polishing a new paint job I just sprayed and it's giving me hell.

I have very makeshift tools right now. I have rotary buffer parts attached to a drill (wool) and I have a harware store 6" orbital buffer. Neither are very good. I am using #85 on my makeshift rotary buffer to buff out my color sanding from a paint job I just did. It works just good enough to get the big scratches out and right now I am working on getting the lighter swirls and marks out that the #85 compounding combo left. This is proving to be the most difficult part without a good DA or PC.
I had a small collection of Meg's stuff, but this site has opened my eyes to newer things for my car. I don't mind spending the money on Meguiar's stuff b/c I know it's going to be used on my cars with great results. It's the best money I've spent in years!
BTW, I just bought the PC today from ADS...should get here next week!

Mike, if you ever need to defend the advantages of this forum, this thread would be a good place to start .
I've also spent over $200 over the past couple months on Meguiar's products, exclusively due to this forum. (I hope my wife doesn't read this thread ).

Well my g/f better not say anything...I'm the one who keeps her car clean and shiney.
As much shopping as women do...they shouldn't say anything about us spending money on things we actually use. LOL

The only problem I have found with this forum is you guys posting those great pics of up market cars when you are lucky to so one of them over here if you go to a car show.....drool.

Ewww. I see some clay magic stuff in there. Their clay is fine, but their lube makes the clay fall apart after a long claying session.
