Detailing question

Hey guys I have some questions for you. I have a 2002 civic, that I bought brand new, initially I waxed it every month for probably a year or so. Then I got a girlfriend now fiance, so needless to say I havent been able to keep up to that. So I wax it when I can, and wash when I can. So I want to really clean it up good. I want to detail it, so I thought about using these products.

1. Wash it.
2. Clay bar it.
3. Use meguiar's deep crystal system, #1,2, and 3.
And finished, is this a good idea for the car or is there something else I should use? What do you guys think?

Thanks matt and mike, I will be reading the list O' links looks like it will take a while, hehe. In the meantime we have a da buffer, orbital and the other one, cant remember what it is. Anyway is it alright to use this buffer with all the products to apply them? I will take them off by hand. Well I wont be putting the clay on with this of course,

Well i tried to edit my post but couldnt so I also have another question. Should i use meguiars deep crystal #3 for the wax or the Gold class, which is the better product and will produce the better result?? Thanks.
