    How does that combo sound. I used the 80 once and marred up my hood pretty bad but I didnt let it break down. 83 would be overkill. But 80 with a rotary is supposed to give the best shine. hopefully the pc wont dull it out afterwards.


    Also wash, and clay, etc.


    I would have done already but I had all kinds of other nonsense to tend to this week.

    What are you working on?

    M80 with a rotary buffer and a W-8006 works really well for light defects but you really have to clean your pad often and always wipe off the spent residue before re-working a surface.

    Rotary buffers tend to produce very nice finishes except for the tail-tail sings of rotary buffer swirls in bright light, thus the reason to re-buff each panel using the dual action polisher and yes sometimes the DAP process can actually dull down the gloss and shine results created by the RB, but not on all paints and not with all products, sometimes you have to invest some time in experimenting with just the right combo to get the best results.
