  • buying products... direct from Megs or an online retailer?

I'm going to a car show this weekend, The All Truck Nationals in Carlisle, PA acutally... and will hopefully be picking up a bunch of Meguiar's product, as well as maybe a buffer.

Would i make out any better buying directly from the Meguiars truck / stand... or buying from a typical retailer online?

I'm hoping to get a whole package deal, or at least enough to get started to do most tasks for now

    Go to autodetailingsolutions.com. (ADS)

You can either order from there, or just jot down some prices and take them along to compare.

I think as far as a packaage deal for the G-100, ADS is hard to beat.

Remember, Meguiars doesnt compete with its own retailers/distributors, so they dont offer a lot of discounts/sales, etc. Maybe at a speacial event they would, but I dunno.

Especially when my local distributor has a markup over retail

Well I'm lucky then, I'm using a freight forwarding company inside the US ,that actually sends my stuff to Norway. The company I use also ships to Sweden, so maybe their adding Finland next

ADS is the way to go. I just look for sale prices on locally on anything else.

Rick at ADS is Super and his pricing is excellent, that said I have seen some awesome deals at Hershey and Carlisle from Megs direct, definitely check their deals out, you'll save shipping but pay tax at the shows. The employees manning the trailer are very knowledgeable and will steer you in the right direction on product pads etc.
