i got 2 spots of bird doodoo on my car last week.. and washed it on friday.. afterwards i saw hazy cloudy marks where the doodoo was.. im not sure if i would call that etching or hazing
so i used scratch x on them and suprisingly they vanished after one application.. but on sunday.. i noticed the hazing came back like magic..
i used scratch x again and with minimal effort they were gone..
today after a full day parked in the hot sun.. they came back again!!!
is the scratch x removing it? or is it just blending it.. is the hazing caused by residual acid in the pores of the paint??
if so how can i lift out that residual acid.. i read about 50/50 IPA and water.. and also something about baking soda/water..
can anyone with the same experience tell me how to get rid of it once and for all???
