  • DC 3 step system

Just picked up at autozone for 15 bucks. Is this hand only or can you use a buffer. The bottles didnt say.

It can be used with a buffer, esp the cleaner. It doesnt have much swirl removal ability by hand, but a little buffer power can remove some light things.

The polish may gum up a little, have to try it and see, could be easier by hand.

Yeah thats what I am thinking. I used to buff everything by machine. Sometimes a hand polish is more than suffice.

You paid $15 for DC3? I think I paid 9 at Advance auto.

The DC System is great !! I recently done my '06 Accord with it.
My steps were, wash, clay, DC#1, DC#2, and #26. The end result was the best shine/ wet look i have ever achieved. Meguiar's is Awsome stuff !!!

I don't know, i've never used #80, NXT, or #21. I've never really been a big fan of synthetic wax's.

I've applied DC1 and DC2 mostly by hand, but it is true that it is easier to apply by machine. I use Quik Clay, DC1, DC2, #7, and #21 for my best results. You can skip #7, it's a personal taste thing for me. Personally, I've found that #21 has a higher gloss than Gold Class. #21 is also easier to apply and remove. I would highly reccommend it.

As for DC3, I personally have never used it, but I have a friend that applies it after a coat of Cleaner Wax.
