I know there was a post back a little bit but couldnt find again. What are some product combos you guys use for light cars.

83 and 80 should do the trick or even just 80. Rotary and PC?

By the way the front bumper on my new explorer peeled and I cant even use my new pc yet. It is killing me. Sometime next week.

Maybe I should be a wise guy and soak the truck with silicone before it goes on(LOL). Just kidding.

The process for removing the defects out of any paint really isn't really affected by color and most cars and truck are clear coated so you're not really working on colored paint anyway.

Instead of color, Meguiar's recommend using the least aggressive product to get the job done and if your first choice isn't aggressive enough, then substitute a more aggressive product.

I figured 80 would do the trick for most. Some companies reccommend one product for light and one for dark. I should be able to pull it off with the rotary on lighter ones.

I have seen a lot of white cars with holograms though.

It's true that you might get away with a less perfect finish on light colored cars, but that doesn't mean it should be recommended

That being said #80 is my go-to product in a lot of cases...
