  • tire shine

Hi, I'm using the insane tire (spray in a bottle) and the shine is I would say average. I'm looking for really insane shining tires. Can someone recommend a shinier product for the tires? Maybe the insane in an aerasol can, the foam or the hot wheels?
Also, I'm using the nxt gen tech protectant for the interior, this also has a minimal shine. Will the nxt gen cockpit shine, shine better? Or maybe another product? Thanks.

For the interior, a lot of products will not produce a very glossy look. A lot of people (including me) find the natural look more appealing than the overly glossy look. If what you want is shine, Black magic interior something or other produces a high level of shine. I guess it is all a person preferance.

      Thanks.

I use the Hot Shine aerosol for my tires. I found that 2 or 3 coats of the stuff will produce a good glossy shine. More shine than just 1 coat. Give the stuff 15 minutes or so to dry between coats.

Here are a couple photos you might like to look at, all are single coats of the product:

Gold Class HIGH ENDURANCE Gel is the best I reckon.

i apply once and let dry/sit for 10-15 minutes. then apply another coat after the wait and then let it sit for 10-15 minutes. If i'm happy I drive off, if not I apply another coat.

          looks SHARP!!!

Not trying to take over the thread, but, does multiple applications of a tire dressing actually increase the gloss and durability of the shine?

I am pretty sure it does. I read on other brands of tireshine and they say to let the first coat let stand for 15mins, then apply another coat for "optimal shine" So I would assume it does.

Personally, I like the NXT Aerosol better than the trigger. I know they r the same and what not, but I like the shine with the aerosol more, plus its less messy IMO

                hey hobby,

I have used both the nxt insane shine and the hot shine tire coating both in the spray can. on my tires it looks like the hot shine is glossier(new word) than the insane shine. I also think the tire make a differance also. On my wife's van they both look dull because the tire has those pita ridges on the side wall that seem to take away from the look.(just my opinion).
