  • Speed Detailer on Motorcycles

I have a question on using Speed Detailer on Motorcycles. Will I need to cover other surfaces like chrome, plastic, Billet when I QD my motorcycle. Is overspray a problem?

I don't have a motorcycle but I have a scooter in which I use Speed Detailer on. The scooter has some chrome and plastic. As long as you are using the QD on a cooled piece of chrome then wipe it down with a dry towel such as a microfiber, you'll be fine. Even if it did leave some streaking, those streaks come right off with a towel that is not already dampened with detailer (Speed Detailer or Quick Detailer).
I have used it on my large chrome bumper and other chrome parts on my Toyota Tundra. Again, the key thing is wiping it down with a dry cloth or you'll leave some slight streaks. What I do alot of the times to wipe a whole car down is use one microfiber as my "wet" wipe. Then, I follow it up with a clean, dry microfiber to finish up. Either Speed or Quick Detailer works great. I'm not too sure about QD, but I know Speed Detailer enhances the gloss and leaves a little protection behind.
    Hope that helps.
