  • #7 Query

Hi guys, I've just received some #7 and #21 and had a query about prep before #7.

    Currently I've been doing:
    1. NXT wash
    2. Clay [when required]
    3. DC1 with scratch x for more affected areas
    4. DC2
    5. NXT liquid wax

For a full detail I presume I simply swap #7 for DC2 and #21 for my NXT [although could top #21 with NXT]?

However, having recently waxed my car, do I need to strip off my NXT for #21 to work, ie do I need to use a paint cleaner or can I simply polish then wax?

If your coat of Nxt is fresh, and you give a good washing to evrything, then you can just apply #21 on top. I think just #7 and #21 on top would be fine as well.

Just want to make sure everything is clean so you dont drag any dirt around.

You can apply the #7 followed by the M21 onto the paint after washing and drying the car and you shouldn't have any problems. In a perfect world, we do recommend applying a polish before the wax so if you have a fresh coat of NXT Tech Wax on the paint, depending upon the paint and your car care goals, it might be worth the extra step to clean the paint, (remove the NXT), using a light paint cleaner like Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, followed by the #7, followed by the #21

      What are you working on?

      What kind of paint?

            You sure can!

Is #20 going to be your last product you use?

I do the same except I use #21 instead of #20
