  • Tire Cleaners, what works best??

I think a few sprays of APC works as well as anything else.

I keep my APC diluted to about 6:1, and a foaming head sprayer, so maybe 2-3 applications per tire. Probably less would be needed if you used a stonger dilution.

All Purpose Cleaner. The stuff is great, can use it to clean just about everything in the house and on the car.

Castrol Degreaser works great on the tires I clean. I keep it off the rims since I'm using it concentrate. It makes my tires a nice, flat, clean black that can be left alone or I can add Endurance Tire Gel.

I use super Degreaser on rims and tires. Works great for me
Detailing cars is a form of art. Most appreciate it, few possess the required skill and even fewer understand it.

NXT Generation Car Wash, applied using an OXO Ergonomic Tire Brush. The brush allows you to realy put force in the scrubbing without the chance of damaging the rims.

I have access to a very limited selection of OTC tire cleaners, and not a single Meguiar's candidate. The best I found was Eagle One's tire cleaner. Spray, wait, rinse.

However, it took too much product per tire to do a good job, so I'm using the cheapest : Simoniz with a brush. A bit longer and more efforts involved, but result is good and I can do a lot of tires with a bottle.

I like the Foaming Tire Spray. It works exceptionally well and looks great when followed up with Endurance high gloss.
