  • My own 5 step process

So, this is what I have in mind.

    1- Wash
    2- Clay
    3- Glaze (#7 or similar)
    4- #20
    5- #26

But, if I'm not mistaken, #20 would remove the Glaze because of it's cleaner, the I have two choices:

    3- #20
    4- #26

    Or

    3- Glaze
    4- #26

I like Carnauba waxes, that's why I like the idea of using #26, but, from what I read around here, NXT wax could be a replacement for #20 + #26 right?
The idea, I'm after is to have good protection and a nice look, there the idea of topping a sealant with a pure wax.

#21 is another option, maybe it could work over a Glaze as it don't have cleaners...

Me personally, I like #21 over #7 (Glaze).

One thing I noticed that your missing in your steps is a Paint Cleaner. Paint that is not properly cleaned, will not give you the finished look your after. Cleaning the paint is the most important step to getting that flawless shine.

    So try this:

    1- Wash
    2- Clay
    3- #80 (Medium Paint Cleaner)
    4- Glaze (#7 or similar)
    5- #21
    6- #26

      #20 has cleaner, that's why I didn't include left a standalone product.

Can #80 be applied by hand?

#20 Doesn't have enough cleaners in it. It has a very mild cleaning ability. You would have to use a dedicated paint cleaner.

Yes #80 can be applied by hand, but it's designed to be applied by machine. #80 has to be broken down to work, which requires about 1-3 minutes with a machine. By hand I don't think it will be too effective. This goes the same for most of your Pro Line products.

Your almost better using Scratch X for medium scratches or DC1 for light swirls/scratches by hand.

Ok, being like that, can I use #20 in top of a Glaze?

DC1 seems to be what I need.

            My thoughts are this

My favorite combo on clean/prepped paint is the same as Magic suggested...

            #7, #21, #26

I have used #80 by hand and I think its much much better then ScratchX and actually breaks down faster by hand then by PC. I have compared #80 side by side with ScratchX and found that #80 removed more, worked quicker, and left behind that awesome shine...
