    I have found that when it begins to wear away, the wipers will chatter.
    Also if your going under a street lights or over head lightning and the wiper passes over the window rainX has a haze type effect that lasts split second and you temporarily can not see through the window.

    But I still like the stuff

      I user a billet metal polish on my windows to get out stubborn stains and make the glass smooth
      this IS my signature :-)

        Hey,

        One glass treatment I do like is the RainX De-Icer windshield washer fluid. I use this in my wife's car over the winter. It does a great job of shedding the water plus the wipers do not end up chattering. There is no smearing and no problems with it affecting the paint.

        I do know about the RainX haze you are referring to. It can be real problem.
