I ALWAYS polish all the glass when I polish the car. Shiny glass is a good thing and it stays cleaner too.

Wax would be a bad idea, but polish...mmm I suspect it would be OK.

Big difference if he uses a cleaner/polish or a pure polish. Don't think I would use a pure polish on the glass, and don't think it would work to clean anything off. But #4 Heavy cut cleaner is actually recommended for polishing glass, because of the type of diminishing abrasives used in it. Check out this thread: Glass Polishing... deep cleaning

I no longer use it but a few years ago I was using Dri-Wash as my LSP and after I wiped it off I would use the wipe towel and buff the glass it really made it shine.
On the windshield it worked like rainX. I have a C4 Corvette and the windshield has a lot of slope and rain would blow up and over the car didn't need the wipers.

Just curious...why did you stop polishing your windscreen if it worked so well for you?
