  • can anyone tell me what this is?

I bought what i thought was mild clay but now i dont know.
what it says on the container is

mirror glaze body shop professional overspray
    clay.

the color of the clay is off white

Hmm, I might be wrong but I believe the professional mild clay is blue and the professional agressive clay is red. The consumer clay that comes in Quick Clay and Smooth Surface kit is off white, but those are under the Meguiar's label and not the Mirror Glaze label. Do you have a picture of the container?

Is this what it looks like ?....a friend of mine picked this up at CarQuest ($28.50) and gave it to me after I detailed his car.

That clay is their old C2000 clay. The new C2000 MILD is much improved. The new agressive is C2100.

So this clay that I have is not as good as the new stuff ??...I didn't buy it, someone gave it to me after he bought it to use on his car....I did notice it's REALLY hard to form into a pancake...it's stiff and not very moldable....
