  • Thank you for the advice on cement removal

A big thankyou to all about the removal of cement using vinegar
Had a customer show me his car and it was covered in cement spots front and down the side after driving through road works .so i rang a concrete plant and they recommended using a acid .Did not like that idea next thing was to do a search on here.Found a couple of threads about using white vinegar.I did not dilute it and it worked well, took awhile to remove it using a soft tooth brush and clay ,then it was a full polish Job to finish it off .customer could not believe the results even got paid more than what i quoted for the job ..

    once again THANK-YOU members

Glad to hear you got the concrete off. Do you have any "before" and "after" pictures? I wonder if that will work for the paint from the road lines they paint on? My g/f Focus has somekind of buildup in the fender wells of her car. I don't know exactly what it is, but I'm gussing it's the paint from the road lines when it was still soft. She didn't do it since the previous owner never took real good care of the car. Congrats on the job well done. Look forward to hearing more success stories.

I had a car with over-spray all over it .The way i removed it was with a clay bar then a full polish .That worked well for me .Sorry could not get any photos of before and after camera broke down
