No matter what you use you'll have to wax the area of concern upon removal of the grease. I'd try some body shop solvent (prepsol). Good luck.

A bug & tar remover. There is the Gold Class one, and there is also Body Solvent in the detailer line.

Kerosene would work well, though you'll have to wash the kerosene residue off afterwards.

I have used Castrol Degreaser to axle grease off of my old car one time. I had to rewax the area of course, but I didn't have to worry about an oily residue from the axle grease anymore. That Castrol stuff is great and you can dillute if you want. I sprayed it on full concentrate and then washed it with some car wash soap and water mix.

Thank you all for the help,
the castrol degreaser worked GREAT on breaking down the grease.

Great to hear it worked for you. Make sure you rewax that area again.
