  • Motorcyle detailing....

I have been detailing for a long, long time... I have done cars, trucks and even a boat or two, but I have never detailed a motorcycle before.

A friend of mine wants me to detail his Harley Davidson Road King.

    Any caveats and advice?

Take your time, use lots of elbow grease and try not to get degreasor near the chain.

Most chains these days have 'O' or 'Z' rings in there and the manufactorer says to keep degreasors away as it can effected the sealing property of the rings. So far I have used kawasaki's quick wipe with great success.

Keep something long and thin handy. I just did my brother-in-law's ElectraGlide. I had a hard time getting my hand in between the gas tank and the top of the heads.
