  • Old dried up wax/polish on painted panels

Hi all. The last time I polished my car (almost a year ago!) I missed a lot of wax or polish... not just on some trim (even though i taped it off) but also on the body panels. I was working in a condo garage, and i guess the lighting wasn't as good as I thought. What's the easiest way to remove this? I can't get it off by simply washing the car (which I guess is the point of the stuff!)

You should be able to loosen and remove any residue on the painted panels using either paint cleaner like ScratchX or Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, or even a cleaner/polish by hand or by using a dual action polisher.

Ok, thanks Mike. I'll give that a try tomorrow when I get going
