How much NXT for 2 coats on 98 Accord?

I followed the guidance on here regarding applying 2 very thin coats of NXT. Just curious, about how much of the liquid wax should I have left in the bottle if I applied 2 coats on a 98 Accord?

From the looks of it, I should be able to get 3 2-coat applications on my Accord (maybe 4). Does that sound right?

That sounds like you are using a bit much... Thin means that you can really barely see it.

Unfortunately, I dont think I have ever seen a picture on here of what "properly applied wax' looks like, or 'properly applied and hazed wax".

Thanks. I applied it via PC. Basically I put a thin ring of liquid on the pad, and hten applied it to half of the hood/roof/etc. I then repeated for the other half.

It was still very easy to remove. I'll apply a thinner coat next time and see how it works out.

That's also good news if I used too much...that means a bottle will last even longer.

I don't know about PC application, but by hand, the Megs customer support guy told me that a quarter sized area of wax should cover about 3/4 of the hood of an average sized car.

This makes sense, because I accidentally applied way too much on my black car last night and it looked very splotchy under low-light. Luckily, it became humid today and i was able to buff it to normality. I will apply a thin 2nd coat tonight.

In one bottle of NXT liquid, you def should get more then 3-4 cars out of it. Especially by PC, a little goes a long way.

I apply by PC too and I've waxed my car at least 20 times so far and I still have more than half the bottle left. A thin bead around the outer edge covers the whole hood and more. A little travels a loooong way. I also don't have a hood on my car so that saves some, but a Sebring is a loong car (192 inches long).
