A Bird left me a present on my new MINI

Ok, so I come home and find that a bird left me a nice present on the hood of my car. Thankfully it was not too big but now I have some etching on the hood.

So here is my question, I have read the ScratchX article that was put up by Mike. Do I have to wash the entire car or can I give that spot a good washing, use ScratchX, and then spot polilsh, clean and wax? I went through the claybar, clean, polish, wax process about a month ago and would like to not have to do it again so soon.

There is no reason you cant do a spot treatment.

You may end up with one spot that looks different than the rest of the car, at least as far as a clean spot, but that is up to you if that is ok.
