  • NXT Speed Detailer and Spray Wax

I am a newbie trying to figure out how products interact and how frequently to use them. I see folks saying they use NXT Speed Detailer and Spray Wax after regular (i.e., not a full detail) washes. Do you use both after each wash? If so, you use QD first then wax, right? If not do you alternate, say QD one wash then spray wax the next? In between washes the Speed Detailer can be used to remove things like bird droppings, tree sap, etc., right?

The Speed Detailer is a quick detail spray. It is used to remove very light amounts of dust, fingerprints, or other slight things that might have settled on your paint after a wash. It can also be used as a lubricant for claying. Some people like to use a quick detail spray such as Speed Detailer after a wash to make sure that they didn't miss anything, for that truly thorough job.

Spray Wax is meant as a "booster wax" of sorts, and is easily applied to a clean surface, after you've washed. Here is an excellent how-to on applying Spray Wax: Mike How-To on Spray Wax
