  • Which kit?

Well, I have been pondering the DA for quite some time now. I would like to start detailing on the side to make a little extra money, but I really would like the DA for my car, g/f car, Mom's truck and Dad's car. All our cars are in pretty good shape as far as minor swirl marks. The worst of the bunch is my g/f Focus which has water etching(I think). The car is black and she is the second owner of this car. I know the previous owner didn't take care of this car as far as keeping it waxed and clean. The hood has some major "gouges" in paint, but not all the way through to bare metal. I know it will need to be repainted, but the rest of the car has the water spots and etching. I have been looking at the DA promotions on ADS website and can't decide which kit to get. I am stuck between Kit #2 and Kit #3. I know you are suppose to use the least aggrasive product to remove swirls, but I know #80 isn't going to remove the water etching/spots on my g/f car. I know Kit #2 should be sufficent on my car and my parent's vehicles. I'm thinking of getting Kit #3 and just buying some #80, but I would like other's opinions on it. I want to get the most for my money and not buy something that I can't use or just use once and not use again for a long time. Thanks for your help everybody.

make sure you get the 80, and you might be suprised at its cleaning power...

2002 Ford F-150 4x4... The paint was heavily faded and swirled, not to mention there was huge amounts of clear coat faliure on the upper portions of the vehicle. When I orginally gave the truck a once over, I figured it would take at least M83 via rotary to get anywork done. Was a suprised when M80 via PC did the job. I hear
Let's make all of the cars shiny!

I wish one of the packages came with #21 instead of Nxt wax.. but that is just me.

What you will want to do is just look at what you need, and do a little spreasheet in Excel. It could be cheaper to get something you dont need, than to buy what you need piece by piece. But you never know till you add it up.

I would at least get a small bottle of #83, and then #80 will be your go-to product in the future.

You will also possibly want to order one of the 6-pad sets. I thin kit says you can pick any combo of 6-pads, so you could do 1 7006, 3 8006, and 2 9006, which should last you a good while.
