  • Anyone use Calyx manifold dressing?

I'd like to hear about experiences with Calyx manifold dressing. Does it lasts? Does it look good? Could I also use it on my water pump and intake manifold?

    Thanks!

    Never heard of it?

Maybe one of our forum members will chime in?

I use it on my '69 Mach 1 cast iron headers that are wedged in and not able to take of a coat. Works great and looks great. It is about the consistency of butter. I use a nitrile glove and my finger to apply as that works best. You rub it in like you are putting on suntan lotion, then start the engine letting the exhaust manifolds heat up. The heat 'sets' or cures it on the manifold. You can use it on rusted manifolds and after they look just like new cast iron. I can't comment on how long it lasts as my car doesn't get a lot of miles on it. But you can touch it up anytime. Nice option if you can't coat an item.
