Is the first step wash and then clay?

On the clay, do you just spray with car with Spray detailer and rub with the clay until smooth? Is it that simple? I am missing something on this?

    pretty much that simple

wash a nd dry your car..and find a spot in the shade

then warm the clay in your hands and knead into a flat circle, then spray a small area, 18" x 18" or so an glide the clay over the paint...you should be able to feel and hear when its smooth...wipe that area over with a MF towel and move onto the next patch...just be sure to keep the area you are claying wet with qd at all times

keep folding and inspectiong the clay for grit , and throw it away if you drop it

Honestly, I have been into detailing for years, and never used a clay bar up until last month and it is SO easy.

Dont be afraid to use a lot of QD. Better too much than not enough.

Pretty much easiet to just go for it... You'll pick up the technique by the time you finish the first panel.

Can one bar do the entire car? How many time can you use the one bar?

Depending on how dirty the cars are, one bar can do several cars. I usually use mine for 4-5 cars or more without any trouble at all. Just keep folding to a new, clean area and you are good to go. If you drop a clay bar on the ground however, it should go right to the trash. It can get small rocks or contaminants in it and really mess up paint.
