nxt on top of gold class?? does nxt hide swirls??

    nxt on top of gold class?? does nxt hide swirls??

    do i need to strip the gold class that i applied yesterday?

    I want to hide ultra fine swirls caused by applying scratch x

    will the nxt hide the swirls more than gold class??

    can any one give me some tips/procedure on applying the nxt liquid wax?? do i need to buff it in?? i read that its much easier to apply than gold class and also hides swirls

    is nxt liquid wax abrasive in any way??

    Basically, apply the NXT with a thin coat and do the entire car, let it dry for another 15-30mins, and remove with a MF or terry towel. sorry for the short answer but i am in a hurry.

      ScratchX should never leave swirls! Were you using a foam applicator, or a terry or microfiber applicator? I get best results with foam. The applicator itself will mar if you use terry.

      To answer the question, no you don't have to strip the Gold Class, and the answer to part two depends on the swirls.
      As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

        i used the hi tech foam and the even coat applicator.. with meg's microfiber towel.. each time i worked it until clear and broken down.. and wipe away..

        the swirls are ultra ultra fine and only visible in sunlight.. very very fine swirls..

        its a new black lexus.. anyways i made posts about it in this forums.. no one seem to know why..

        i even tried using dc1 too see if i can get rid of it..

              maybe you should consider a saturday or wednesday evening class at megs HQ in irvine, the class should straighten out any problems you have

                Bring your car by this Wednesday if you can and I would love to take a look at it for you. The "Open Garage" starts at 3:00pm, a few hours earlier as Car Crazy TV will be here to film.

                  I think it all depends on the color.. My car is black and when I used NXT it was easier to see my "pretty" swirls. Then next month I went with GC and you can hardly see the swirls.
