  • 3M/ X-pel covered panels

I'm about to polish my car (black) and have a custom covered front bumper and selected panels covered in a clear coat plastic protectant. Should I be staying away from these components with the G100 and polishes?

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, but thought I would check with you guys first.

I have used, by hand, some fine polishing compounds, to help remove minor scratches to the plastic before.

Is there any special techniques, I can use on this surface?

I'm sure that when I have finnished the polishing, these areas are going to show there true wear and tear.

    Thanks in advance.

As long as you don't use anything abrasive on the film you should be right. Polish, wax and sealants are fine.
