  • Washing after buffing

Do you guys wash after every step or is a wipe down safe after 80 or 83. Of course any compound or fine cut cleaner you would need to wash after. It seems as if the 83 and 80 are non abrasive that you could wipe.

Assuming you are working continuously, wash-clay-#83-#80-Wax-Wax, no wipe down or wash would be needed. There wont be enough time for anything to accumulate, and any left over product dust wont hurt.

Now, if a dust storm blows through, maybe you should wash.

Any time we polish a vehicle and it gets dusty we rinse it.

After we dry it we then apply the sealer.

Stick with Superior Shine... if it gets dusty from products, rinse it down...

No wash mit though correct. I usually rinse and wipe with my chamois. Very light sometimes even use the air hose. Just want to make sure I am doing it right. I should prbably switch soaps too.

Well, I dont know what Joe would do, but if you just rinse with water, I would just dry.

What soaps are you using now?
