What Meguiars product would be best for restoring the shine on pickup truck tool boxes. Also, do the polishing balls that are available to use on rotary drills help with polishing tool boxes?

Well, you'll definately want the Nxt Metal Polish. And I would also recomend claying it first. It really makes a difference on my mufflers/tips before polishing.
So assuming you were to do it by hand:
1. Wash it good.
2. Clay
3. Nxt Metal Polish
The diamond plate makes things tricky though, and a lot more time consuming.
