  • Scratch X Haziness

So I used Scratch X for the first time with the intentions to move swirls from my mom's swirl filled car ('91 735i). I noticed after my first few passes there was this haziness in certain areas. There wasn't haziness before so I was actually making the car look worse! I did a few more passes and the haziness semmed to move around. After around 8 or 9 passes (with passion) I cleared most of the haziness away and it looked pretty good. There were still small patches of haziness in my work area and some on the edges. I'm attaching a picture of my work. If you look on the right where the bevel is you can see the haziness. Is that normal? Anything I can do to avoid it?

There's the whole car. I only worked on the hood to see what I could do.

The tiny section I did took me a loooong time. As I said 8 or 9 passes with Scratch X. Definitely looks better but still some swirls.

I'm going to order a G100A soon to do the whole car.

I'm sorry I have to laugh...but just as you..I only had enough in me to do the hood of my car with Scratch X yesterday.... I didn't get any haze though. And it worked wonders on my hood.
