  • splatter on MNI TRIM

The dealer decided to clean my wheels and did a piss poor job leaving splatter all over the trim at the bottom and around the wheels.

how do i properly clean this to getting back to original?

makes me so mad. its so noticeable in the sun as well.

I use #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner with a terry towel. Actually cleans off (not covers up) the residue on the trim of my '05 DS/B MCS. Then to bring the "bling" back, I use Gold Class Vinyl/Rubber Protectant.

    Hope this helps,

    Chad

will a wash get it off with just soap and water or no.

CAN I USE HYPER DRESSING OR APC on it or no.

i'm talking about the plastic trim around the car and wheels.

Soap and water if you really scrub with a brush has been my experience, but then you invite the chance of scratching. That's why, after OctaneGuy turned me on to it, I now use the #39 with a terry towel.

I guess you could use the dressing alone, but I think it would only "cover it up" and not fix the problem.
