  • Some random questions

    1. Is there anyway to get wax out from under the edge of a clear bra?

    2. After claying can you wait overnight to use color X. Or after Color X can I wait over night to wax. Will dust be a problem? The car would be garaged.

    3. Same question as 2 but if the car is not garaged. (different car different location)

The timing questions are because I am going to be doing 2 SUVs by hand and I don't think I can do it all at once.

    4. For a new dark colored car, would it better to go with
DC1,DC2 or just use color x?

    5. One more... Anybody ever use anything other than QD to lubricate? I read water isn't as lubricating but it's a lot cheaper!!

    Thanks

Toothpick? Softly with a microfiber held against your finger?

You can wait to apply the wax but keep in mind the paint is unprotected and before working on the paint you need to wipe it clear to make sure it's clean and dirt and dust free.

Same answer, car needs to be clean before touching it with products.

You'll get great results either way... read this,

No. Quick detailers include ingredients that lubricate the surface while you're wiping, water is a lubricant but it doesn't come close to performing as well as dedicated quick detailer mist and wipe type product.
