for single stage paint, I coloredx the whole the car, will it hurt if I do it again? I'd like to improve on the results which were good but wondering if it can be better

Quick question on colorX

Hi DS9,
Welcome to Meguiar's Online!
Sure you can use the ColorX twice, in fact, if your working on a finish that has been neglected here's how you should approach it,
First pass: Use ample ColorX. The extra chemical cleaners will help to loosen and break the hold of oxidation, stains and bonded contaminants. The polishing oils will restore color and clarity and the natural and synthetic waxes will provide protection.
Second pass: Now that a lot of the icky stuff has been removed, the polishing oils will better be able to penetrate and restore color. The chemical cleaners will still clean the surface even more, and of course, you will leave behind a protective coating.
The second pass will insure a uniform appearance, especially if you applying by hand.
I did a two step by hand using ColorX on this car, but for my second step I used NXT Tech Wax instead. Of course, I really added some elbow grease when working on this car because the finish was so neglected.
