Under the FAQ's about product questions regarding what products are clear coat safe I notice that Maguiars Deep Crystal Polish is not listed.
What is exactly meant by clear coat safe? As I stated in another post my concern is not damaging the clear coat by taking too much off.Joe

DieselJoe, I did a quick SEARCH on "DODGE and RAM" and came up with THIS LIST of threads where Dodge Ram was listed....gotta be some good stuff in there for you !

If it's not listed it's just an oversight.

The thing about clear coat paints is that generally speaking they are harder than traditional single stage paints and this means it's more difficult for you and I to remove the defects out of especially by hand and thus the increase in popularity in the dual action polisher.

Clear coat safe products are basically any product that doesn't use a hard, mechanical abrasive that doesn't bread down.

Deep Crystal Polish is perfectly safe for your car's clear coat, I have never, nor have I ever met anyone that has rubbed through a clear coat finish by hand with any of Meguiar's Consumer Line products.
