  • Deep Crystal Polish and/or Mirror Machine Glaze#3?

I had contacted Maguiars about the differences between deep Crystal Polish and Mirror Machine Glaze#3.The polish has no abrasives and can be applied by hand or machine. The Machine Glaze#3 must be applied by machine and has fine abrasives.I thought that the Galze was a polish with more oils in it for the paint. My concern is not to ruin the clear coat as by taking to much off.My question is when do you use the Mirror Machine Glaze#3 over/instead of the Deep Crystal polish? On both bottles it states that both are safe for clear coats.I thought you wash/clay/polish/glaze and then wax.Correct info would be great.Thank Joe

I've always been told that M03 Machine Glaze was a machine applied pure polish, that is non-abrasive.

If Customer Care is telling people that it has abrasives in it then either I'm wrong or they are wrong. Either way I'll see if I can get a bona-fide confirmation either way. I know when I re-wrote the FAQ on Meguiars.com this subject came up and I researched to make sure the FAQ was technically correct and it was proof-read by multiple eyes before being approved and at least on this page,

M03 is listed as a pure polish.
