    Hello all,
    Can any tell me how much dilution I would need to make GC Shampoo a good clay lube?

    Typically, car wash solutions don't work as good as the real thing because they are intended to be hosed off with fresh water. I'm afraid if you mix water and a car wash solution in an effort to create a clay lubricant you may run into streaking and smearing problems.

    Some detailers use their car wash solution while it's in the bucket to as a lubricant to clay a car right after washing it to speed up the detailing process. But in this situation, they are rinsing the car after claying as the claying procedure has become a part of the washing procedure.

      I had no luch using Gold Class mix as clay lube. I have used Kit Carnuba wash & Wax 16:1 with success. After I clay I rince the car.
