Ultimate Detail kit at Wal-Mart people!

I was poking around at Wal-Mart yesterday in Duarte.. Looking at car cleaning supplies and when I was about to leave there was this big table loaded with Meguiars Ultimate detail kit. It includes the following

1. Bottle of Cleaner Wax
1. 2pack of wax appilcator pads ( the white bar type)
1. Hot rims wheel cleaner
1. Spray can of Tire shine
1. Micro fiber towel
1. The medium adjustable sized brush for your interior forgot the name.
1. The wheel brush..forgot the exact name..but its NICE!

All for $19.83! I bought 2.


Hopefully this isn't a repost..sorry if it is. Just wanted to share this with you guys!

Correction.. it's called the Ultimate Enthusist kit... I believe they were a promotial item for fathers day.. They had about 13 left. So I believe once its gone its gone.

I saw this at walmart as well, the kits have been on the shelf for a several days but there is still no price I would assume its the $19 posted above?!?! Not sure they will sell many without a price.

lol good! so when i get there i can buy a few i just have to throw away the tire shine, which hurts but 19USD here would buy me the MF and 1 applicator pad LOL

The Super Wal-Mart I went to already started marking them down and are now in the clearance section and only $18.

This reminds me of when Target had the Gold Class gift package around the holidays last year for $29.99 and on Dec. 26th they were $9.99 and this was for GC Wax, Rich Leather Cond., GC Wash,GC Foaming Dash Cleaner (all full sizes), a SS Microfiber, a Sponge all in a cooler thing. Needless to say I had to buy 3 out of the 4 on the shelf.

I'd love if they had such Packages in our shops here. And for that price I think I would at least buy 10

I just went there today and saw that. I came to the fourms to post the good news but looks like you've seen it also! But what am I going to do w/ so much cleaner wax??? And I already have a detail brush. My Wal-Mart has full shelves of it so if you want one, contact me or go the Wal-mart fast!

You could exchange the cleaner wax for some GC or NXT..and pay the difference.

My issue with these types of kits is . . . WHERE'S THE CLAY? I'm putting together a gift pack for a friend who's completely new with cleaning cars, and would love to buy one of these things as an all-in-one, but you still need clay on any kind of neglected finish! You can skip the polish, and potentially the paint cleaner (especially if you're using some sort of cleaner/wax product), but you can't skip claying . . . .

Just a pet peeve . . . . I went to three stores today that have a great stock of Meg's products, including professional products, but no Meg's clay on the shelves . . . . .

The Meg clay kits have been selling like crazy... I had to visit 4 different auto parts stores before I could locate the Smooth Claybar kit! Also have you seen the detail sets on Meguiars products section...AWESOME detail sets!

Had to run to the Super WMT and check on the kit, still $18.00 on clearance and 4 left. I think a buying price for me is $12.50 and maybe more if they go lower say to around 9 (or if quantities go down).

i just saw this kit as well today. not that i need anymore of the items in the kit, but... if they go down in price i'll probably buy one .
