After performing a full on detail on my car a few months ago my wife and I went out to dinner. She caught me looking back at the car as we walked up to the restaurant and teased me about it, but admitted the car looked great. Once inside the restaurant we were taken to a window table and my wife said to me a very excited voice "oooh, honey, look!! you'll be able to look at your car while you're having dinner!! aren't you excited!?!?!?"
I just smiled and said "cool"

My Wife and daughter always catch me looking at the cars. They also kid me that when we go out somewhere the reason I park at the far end of the parking lot away from the store is so I can enjoy the view walking back to our car.
When I'm done detailing, and after cleaning up, I typically mill about the car for 20-30 minutes just staring at it at different angles. Wife thinks I'm crazy.

I almost did it in my truck...lol
I was driving by the bank the other day, and caught my trucks reflection in the windows. As I break my neck to catch a glimpse, the traffic slows down right in from of me. Needless to say my wife yelled at me, and we stopped in time. When she asked what I was looking at, at had to tell her I was checking out some hot chick. Just so she would think I was normal
