  • Spraying a DQ before removing Cleaner/Polishes

    Hey guys,

On my first detail while using #83, I found it took quite a bit of elbow grease to just remove it from the paint. #80 as a follow up was much easier to remove, I guess that's because the paint was already treated with something like #83.

Anyways, on my second detail, which was this weekend, we followed the same steps... #83 and then #80, but instead of just wiping off the #83, I sprayed just a tiny bit of Quik Detailer on the MF towel and then wiped it off... It was a charm, absolutely no elbow grease required!

never did it but I've experienced that with #80 at times....I don't think it would be a problem but I'll wait to see what others say...

Nothing bad about it.... They say dont use a QD right after waxing I think, but there is nothing to hurt with #83.

I use a QD with "sticky or dried/baked polishes. Helps remove the product without adding the risk of more marring from "scrubbing" the polish off during the removal.
I try to stay within brand lines, so I use #34 with Megs stuff.
